Klaas Rozema, living in Holwerd, didn’t see any more potential in a normal transport company, where the employer had a couple of employees, during the eighties.
Because of the fact that his partner Sjoukje Rozema had the necessary papers to start up a transport company. They founded a transport company with only self drivers in it, called TGH. The biggest advantages of this are: More motivated drivers, less administrative burdens.
But there is more to running a transport company then just driving. So there was a great need of experts. ITS, Klaas Rozema, was asked to do some minor administrative things for TGH. But due to health reasons and the explosive growth of TGH he asked Michiel Blekkenhorst to support him at his office. Michiel Blekkenhorst was a former self driver with a whole lot of experience. And experience was what was needed.
6 transport groups: 95 trucks!
Since the foundation of ITS, we support the means of 6 transport groups with a total of 95 trucks. All these truck are put in as well national and international with a great variety of transportation.
